Word of the day: Stoked
"stoked" - adjective - to be "stoked" is to be completely and intensely enthusiastic, exhilarated, or excited about something. those who are stoked all of the time know this; being stoked is the epitome of all being. when one is stoked, there is no limit to what one can do.
also, "stoke" - verb - one can "stoke" oneself out by facing challenges or by revving up an engine within oneself to accomplish that which one desires.
E.g. I just got a sweet new camera so I must take a picture in the mirror and name my camera! ... I’m SUPER stoked, man =D -- from new camera, dude, by megan alice.

Word Count in Word
I was looking for the word count feature, which was promised in Microsoft Word. Is it only for the Macintosh version? What a bummer! I see column number updated, and line number in the status bar. What about the word count?
OK, so there is a toolbar for word count. And it is not even automatic. It asks you to press the Recount button. Ugh! What idiots at Microsoft!

Let’s see what Help has to explain about that… Nothing new, all that had been previously discovered: Word Count in Tools menu, and the stupid toolbar.
The only good things is that it can count the stats for the selection only, which can also be non-contiguous.

Providing Custom Layout Engines for Windows Forms
Providing Custom Layout Engines for Windows Forms
Windows Forms provides all the needed methods and events for providing rich custom layout. However, what is lacking is an extensible framework for writing custom reusable layout engines. In addition, there needs to be a set of stock layout components that provide the most common types of layout.
